Hey Hey RezParents and Grandparents!

Spring has sprung and I cannot be happier about it! I hope you are enjoying the warmer temps with your family!

I hope you enjoyed celebrating Holy Week and Easter with your kids and family! What a wonderful observation of the death and resurrection of our Savior!

Below are a few resources for you to use in May and beyond.

Parent Resources:

To Listen: Raising Boys and Girls Podcast by Sissy Goff, David Thomas, and Melissa Trevathan

Season One, hosted by podcast host extraordinaire Sarah Bragg, is based on the Are My Kids on Track? book. In that season, they take the 12 emotional, social, and spiritual milestones they believe every child needs to reach. They talk about stumbling blocks and building blocks for boys and girls AND give you practical strategies as to how to help kids reach those important milestones.

In Season Two, they dig a little deeper into raising boys and girls, based off of Wild Things and Raising Girls. In this season, they discuss the Ages and Stages of boys and girls—who they are and what they need from the grown-ups who love them at every stage. You’ll find relatable ideas to not only navigate but help you connect with each of your kids right where they are in this season of life.

Technology: Faith is Our Super Power Series Podcast by The Knowing God Podcast

Part 1: Regardless of your age, every child of God has been given a super power to fight battles. In this episode, we look at the book of First John and learn what it means to have faith, why faith is our super power, and how faith can help us make decisions and follow Jesus.

Part 2: Every believer of Jesus is given the measure of faith, and this faith can act as a super power to help us win battles we face every day. But this faith won’t work in our lives if we don’t understand it. In Part 2 of this series, we discuss three important things about faith.

Part 3: We continue our discussion in the final part of this series was we look at three more important things about faith. Topics include the spiritual world versus the physical world, what god has put inside our spirit, and how faith works together with love.
